Nearly 140 km of roads are being asphalted in Burgas region. These are sections along the route for Giro d'Italia 2026.
The sections between the villages of Lozenets and Vetren, from Aheloy to Sarafovo and between Kraimorie and Alepu are being repaired.
The old asphalt has been milled on all sections and the necessary improvements to the road structure have been made, excess roadside vegetation has been removed, ditches and roadside areas have been cleaned, which has improved drainage and visibility.
The repair of the sections, part of the route of the Grande Partzena, will be completed by the end of April.
